The 2026 tax season is almost here, and we’re pleased to share a few LodgeiT updates to help your firm get ready.

📄 Tax Forms 2026

The 2026 tax forms will be available in LodgeiT for the new tax season. LodgeiT will automatically create new forms for you in the coming days, carrying forward relevant field values from your 2025 returns where applicable.

Please note that pre-fill data will become available from 1 July 2026 as the ATO receives it. Most pre-fill information is usually available by late July.

💳 Activity Statement payments

Activity Statement card payments are moving from beta to general release.

From 1 July 2026, this feature will be enabled by default for all LodgeiT firms. If your firm does not want Activity Statement payments enabled for clients, you can turn this feature off now in settings.

Once enabled, clients can pay their ATO amount payable by card after they e-sign an Activity Statement in LodgeiT. The payment uses the PRN from the Activity Statement, so there is nothing extra for the client to look up or enter.

A processing fee applies and is shown to the client before they confirm payment.

This can help your firm by:

• Giving clients a simpler way to pay after signing
• Reducing follow-ups about payment details
• Directing payments to the ATO using the Activity Statement PRN
